- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. uncooked long grain rice
- 1 1/4 c. chicken broth
- dash ground turmeric
- 1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender.

2Add rice, cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

3Stir in turmeric; bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

5Stir in cheese.
