  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • dash of salt
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Mix flour, sugar and salt. Set aside. Bring to a boil the water, oleo, oil and cocoa. Pour over flour mixture. Add vanilla. Stir in eggs (do not beat). Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add. Bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes.
