  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 2 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 to 6 jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Crumble sausage and cook.

    Mix cornmeal, flour and sugar.

    Add chopped jalapenos and cheese; mix.

    Add eggs, milk and sausage. Bake in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan at 350° until brown.
