  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3 1/2 c. flour (self-rising)
  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. jam
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Dissolve soda in buttermilk.

    Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a 9-inch tube pan or loaf pans.

    Bake at 250° about 1 1/2 hours or when cake leaves sides of pan.
