- 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 3 whole Yellow Onion
- 1 whole Green Bell Pepper
- 1 bunch Green Onion
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 2 cans 8 Oz. Tomato Sauce
- 2 cups Water
- 2 cups Long Grain Rice
- 2 Links Of Smoked Sausage
- 2 pounds Shrimp
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Dried Parsley Flakes
Directions

1Chops all vegetables.

2Quarter sausage and halve shrimp.

3Heat oil in the bottom of a heavy stockpot and add yellow onion and green bell peppers until softened.

4Then add green onions and garlic.

5Once all vegetables have softened add tomato sauce, water, rice and sausage.

6Bring to a boil.

7Add shrimp and reduce heat to a simmer and cook covered for 25 minutes.

8Stir frequently or infrequently during cooking.

9Salt and Pepper to taste.

10In the last five minutes of cooking, add 3 tsp of dried parsley flakes.
