  • 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 3 whole Yellow Onion
  • 1 whole Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 bunch Green Onion
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 2 cans 8 Oz. Tomato Sauce
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 cups Long Grain Rice
  • 2 Links Of Smoked Sausage
  • 2 pounds Shrimp
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • Dried Parsley Flakes

Directions

    Chops all vegetables.

    Quarter sausage and halve shrimp.

    Heat oil in the bottom of a heavy stockpot and add yellow onion and green bell peppers until softened.

    Then add green onions and garlic.

    Once all vegetables have softened add tomato sauce, water, rice and sausage.

    Bring to a boil.

    Add shrimp and reduce heat to a simmer and cook covered for 25 minutes.

    Stir frequently or infrequently during cooking.

    Salt and Pepper to taste.

    In the last five minutes of cooking, add 3 tsp of dried parsley flakes.
