- 2 cups White sugar
- 2 cups Light Karo Syrup
- pinch of Salt
- 1/2 cup Butter (1 stick)(do not substitute!)
- 2 cups Whipping cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Pecan's
- Candy Thermometer
Directions

1* Put Karo Syrup, Sugar, & Salt in a large heavy bottom Sauce pan.

2Stir occasionally to keep from burning.

3Heat to 245 degrees.

4Watch Carefully!

5* Add Butter & Whipping cream & Carefully Heat to 242 degrees.

6Watch Carefully * Take off stove immediately.

7* Add Vanilla & nuts.

8* Pour into Buttered Cookie sheet with sides.

9* Cut with a sharp knife when it is just above room temp.

10* Wrap in Wax paper squares.
