Ingredients
- 2-1/2-lbs yellow squash
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 c milk
- 6 Tbs margarine (3/4 stick)
- 2 c sharp cheese (grated)
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 4 slices toast, crumbled
Directions

1Cook onions and squash until tender.

2Drain well.

3While still hot, add breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, and 1-1/2 c of cheese. Mix well.

4Add salt and pepper to taste.

5Melt butter in large casserole dish.

6Pour in squash mixture.

7Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.

8Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Return to oven and heat until cheese melts.

9Serves 6-8.
