  • 20 oz. frozen broccoli cuts
  • 12 oz. sliced ham, cubed
  • 12 oz. shredded Swiss
  • 1 (9 1/2 oz.) French bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. Tabasco or hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika

    Make the night ahead.

    Grease a 13 x 9-inch or slightly larger deep cake pan.

    Toss ham, broccoli and cheese.

    Spoon half of mix into bottom of pan.

    Slice bread into 16 slices.

    Arrange bread in 2 long rows, overlapping each slice.

    Put rest of broccoli mix on top.

    Mix eggs, mustard, milk, onion and hot pepper sauce.

    Pour over broccoli; sprinkle with paprika.

    Bake at 350° uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes.
