- 1/4 c. blanched slivereed almonds
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. ground beef
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 c. salt
- 1 c. fine noodles
- 1 pkg. frozen Japanese vegetables
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Saute almonds in butter in skillet until lightly browned. Remove from pan and set aside.

2Brown ground beef well in butter remaining in skillet leaving meat in chunks.

3Stir in water and salt and bring to boil.

4Stir in noodles.

5Cover and simmer for 2 minutes.

6Add vegetables.

7Bring to full boil over medium heat, separating vegetables with fork and stirring frequently.

8Cover and simmer for 3 minutes.

9Stir in soy sauce and sprinkle with almonds.

10Makes 4 servings.
