- 14 onion, minced
- 12 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 12 teaspoon thyme
- 14 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 cups rice
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 12 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 tablespoons butter
Directions

1Melt butter in a small dutch oven.

2Add onion and garlic.

3Saute until transluscent.

4Add rice and stir over low heat until covered with butter.

5Stir in stock, add parsley, bay leaf, thyme, and cayenne pepper.

6Bring to a boil.

7Cover and bake 17 minutes at 400F.

8Add 3 tablespoons butter after removing from oven.
