  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 c. apricot nectar
  • 3/4 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 small pkg. lemon Jell-O

Directions

    Combine powdered sugar and lemon juice. Set aside.

    Mix cake mix, Jell-O, apricot nectar and oil.

    Mix well.

    Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and lemon juice. Bake in tube pan for 55 minutes at 325°.

    When cake is done, lightly pour sugar/lemon juice mixture over cake, right from the oven.

    Let cool in pan.
