Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. white Karo syrup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. jello
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

    Cook sugar, syrup and water to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and boil slowly until it will form a hard ball when dropped in cold water.

    Beat egg whites fairly stiff.
  3. 3
    Sprinkle jello over them and beat until stiff. Pour syrup over the whites. Mix and add nuts.

    Beat until candy is ready to drop from a spoon onto a greased pan.
