  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. tart jelly

Directions

    Beat egg yolks and add sugar gradually.

    Add vanilla, salt, flour and baking powder.

    Fold in beaten egg whites.

    Pour in 10 x 18-inch pan and bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

    Take from pan onto cloth dusted with confectioners sugar.

    Spread with jelly, roll up and cool.
