- 1 c. sifted cake flour
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Grease a 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.

2Line bottom with wax paper.

3Grease paper.

4Preheat oven to 375°.

5Sift flour and baking powder.

6Beat eggs in medium size bowl with electric mixer at high speed until thick and creamy.

7Gradually add sugar, beating constantly, until mixture is very thick.

8(This will take 5 to 7 minutes.)

9Stir in water and vanilla.

10Fold in flour mixture. Spread batter evenly into pan.

11Bake 10 to 15 minutes.

12Turn out of pan onto a large damp towel.

13Roll towel and cake together and leave 3 minutes.

14Unroll, remove towel and spread filling in center of cake.

15Roll and dust with powdered sugar.
