- 125 g butter, softened
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 (60 g) eggs
- 1 3/4 cups self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup nestle milo
- 1/4 cup chopped milo cereal (optional)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 180*. Grease oven trays.

2Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric beater until creamy.

3Add egg and beat until well combined.

4Fold in flour and Milo. Add Milo cereal pieces.

5Roll heaped teaspoons of mixture into balls and place on oven trays, about 4cm apart. Flatten slightly with a fork.

6Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

7Leave to cool for 5 minutes. Serve warm, or cooled.
