- 1 stick oleo
- 2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Melt oleo in saucepan; turn off heat.

2Add brown sugar and stir well, but do not cook.

3Remove from heat; add eggs and mix.

4Add flour, baking powder and nuts; mix well.

5Spread mixture into greased and floured 9 x 12-inch baking pan.

6Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

7Cool; then cut into squares.
