- 1 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. flour (plain)
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 6 eggs
- 1 c. canned milk (I use small can and finish to 1 1/8 c. water)
- 2 tsp. butternut or lemon flavoring (some people like almond)
Directions

1Cream sugar and Crisco (I use butter-flavored) until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time.

2Mix flour, salt and baking powder.

3Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.

4Add flavoring.

5Beat 2 minutes on medium.
