- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/3 c. orange juice
- 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 5 to 6 apples peeled and sliced thin
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Mix apples with sugar and cinnamon mixture.

2Set aside.

3Mix remaining ingredients and mix well.

4Pour 1/2 of batter into well greased and floured tube pan.

5Place apples in pan.

6Cover with remaining batter.

7Top with some apples.

8Bake 1 1/4 hour at 350°, cool 20 minutes.
