  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 c. orange juice
  • 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 to 6 apples peeled and sliced thin
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix apples with sugar and cinnamon mixture.

    Set aside.

    Mix remaining ingredients and mix well.

    Pour 1/2 of batter into well greased and floured tube pan.

    Place apples in pan.

    Cover with remaining batter.

    Top with some apples.

    Bake 1 1/4 hour at 350°, cool 20 minutes.
