- 3/4 cup self raising flour
- 2 eggs
- 375 g dates, pitted and chopped
- 185 g walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Directions

1Beat eggs and sugar together.

2Stir in flour, walnuts, dates and vanilla.

3Press into grease lamington tin.

4Bake in a moderate oven - 180 C for 25 minutes.
