  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 pinch orange food color
  • 3 pinch yeast

Directions

    Heat 1 cup sugar and 3/4 cup water in a sauce pan to make syrup

    In a bowl mix flour, yeast, food color with luke warm water.

    The batter will be of flowing consistency, not too gluish or not too thin.

    Set the mixture aside for 20 min.

    Heat oil in a nonstick and using a piping bag pour the mixture into hot oil.

    U can make nest like pattern.

    Once the jilebi becomes golden brown , take it out of oil and quickly soak in the syrup.
