  • 5 lbs imitation crabmeat
  • 3 quarts whole milk
  • 1 quart heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Chardonnay wine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 14 cup butter, melted

Directions

    Saute green pepper and onions in Chardonnay.

    Add milk and heavy cream.

    Add crab meat, pepper and Old Bay Seasoning.

    Cook on low until soup begins to bubble, constantly stirring to prevent burning.

    Mix butter and flour together.

    Add a little at a time to thicken soup until it is the consistency you desire.
