- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 c. oleo
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. soda
- 7 qt. popped corn
- 1 lb. blanched nuts
Directions

1Mix first 4 ingredients together and boil for 5 minutes.

2Add vanilla and soda; this will cause mixture to fizz.

3Spray large metal dishpan or mixing bowl with Pam spray.

4Pour syrup mixture over 7 quarts popped corn and blanched peanuts.

5Mix well together and place in 250° oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
