  • 1 pound ground lamb or beef
  • masala
  • garlic clove
  • 1 onion medium
  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Directions

    Combine all but butter.

    Mix well until mixture is fairly stiff.

    Cover and let stand 30 minutes.

    Preheat broiler.

    Lightly grease 12 skewers with melted butter.

    Shape meat mixture into meatballs on skewers.

    Broil about 5 min (until well browned) Turn and broil another 4 min.
