  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 8 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions

    CAKE: Sift all dry ingredients and cut in shortening with 2 knives. Add eggs and milk, stir until smooth. Spread in 2 9x1 1/2 inch layer cakepans; greased.

    TOPPING: Mix all ingredients and blend with a fork. Spread over batter in pans. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
