Directions

   Boil sugar and water until clear, about 5 minutes.

   While hot, add powdered instant coffee.

   Cool.

   Put into gallon jug.

   Add fifth of cheap booze and 2 vanilla beans split lengthwise.

   Let stand for 2 weeks or more.

   Filter and bottle.

   Serve in little glasses.

   Keep vanilla beans and add only 1 bean to next brew.
