  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell, chilled
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. Kahlua
  • 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. whole or chopped pecans

Directions

    Set oven at 400°. Cream together butter, sugar, vanilla and flour. Mix well. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in Kahlua, corn syrup, milk and pecans. Mix well and pour into chilled crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° and bake until firm (about 40 minutes). Chill. When ready to serve, garnish with whipped cream and pecan halves. Serves 8 to 10.
