- 1 qt. sauerkraut
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 c. water
- 4 slices raw bacon, diced
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- kielbasa or smoked sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
Directions

1Rinse and drain sauerkraut well.

2Add beef cubes to water; pour over kraut.

3Cover and boil 20 minutes.

4Fry bacon, reserving drippings.

5Add onion and brown; add flour and brown.

6When kraut is done, drain and reserve juice.

7Add kraut juice to flour mixture, stirring constantly.

8When smooth, add to kraut and mix thoroughly.
