Ingredients
- 4 to 8 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. fresh basil, chopped (or 1/2 tsp. dried)
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin (optional)
- 2 to 3 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, minced (to taste)

2of the above and blend well.

3Cover and chill for several hours or over night. A food processor works very well for all of the chopping.

4Wear plastic gloves for the jalapenos and don't touch your eyes.

5Serve with tortilla chips.
