- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 4 eggs, divided
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. hot water
- 8 oz. crushed pineapple, drained and reserving juice
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Mix together flour, sugar and oil well.

2To this mixture, add egg yolks, cinnamon, water, pineapple and nuts.

3Blend well.

4Add egg whites and blend.

5Grease and flour tube pan and bake at 325° for 1

6hour and 10 minutes.

7After removing cake from pan, mix pineapple juice and 2 tablespoons brown sugar.

8Spoon over hot cake.
