  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water

  3. 3
    Batter may be thick.
  4. 4
Add more water as needed to thin the batter.

  6. 6
    Lightly coat with cooking spray.
  7. 7
Drop batter by the tablespoon onto the grill.
  8. 8

  9. 9
Spray the top with a little more cooking spray, turn, and cook until cooked through -- 5 to 6 minutes.
  10. 10
If you prefer thinner cakes, add up to 1/2 cup milk to the batter.
