    When using a knife to slice or chop whith your non-knife hand hold the item you cutting with your fingertips put your nuckles up against the side of the knife as you cut as to keep your fingertips safe.

    When you pour hot liquid into a jar or bowl that is glass make sure glass container is room temperature or warmer don't it will crack or explode.

    Don't put a hot glass container on a cold stone counter for it can explode the container.
