- 1/2 c. skim milk
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion salt
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 qt. water
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 clove
Directions

1Soak bread in skim milk.

2Add garlic powder, onion salt, ground beef and egg; mix thoroughly.

3Form into 8 balls.

4Combine water, bay leaf, salt and clove.

5Bring to a boil.

6Drop balls into boiling water and cook until beef is done (about 15 minutes). Drain before placing on platter.
