  • 1 cup shiitake mushroom chopped
  • 1 cup maitake mushrooms chopped
  • 1 inch turmeric root grated, picture shows coarsely chopped root
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut butter
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 8 ounces water or favorite stock

    Heat coconut oil in large skillet

    Add chopped mushrooms and saute

    Add salt and pepper

    Grate turmeric root directly into the sauteing mushrooms

    Slowly add water

    Add coconut butter

    Stir till coconut butter is melted

    Reduce heat and simmer another 7-10 minutes.
