- 1 1/4 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/3 cup milk powder
- 1/4 cup instant potato flakes
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cup bread flour
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 5 oz evaporated milk
- 5 tbsp honey
- 1 cup poppy seeds, ground
- 12 oz cherry pie filling
- 12 oz poppyseed filling
- 12 oz apple pie filling
- 12 oz blueberry pie filling
- 8 oz strawberry preserves
Directions

1Combine cream cheese, egg yolk, sugar and vanilla until blended thoroughly.

2Set aside in refrigerator.

3For poppy seed filling: combine all ingredients and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

4Set aside to cool.

5Place water, softened butter, egg, egg yolk, milk powder, potato flakes, sugar, salt, flour and yeast in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer.

6Select Dough cycle; press Start.

7Check dough after 5 minutes of mixing, adding 1 to 2 tablespoons of water if necessary.

8When the cycle is complete, spoon out dough with tablespoon and roll into walnut sized balls.

9Place 2 inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet.

10Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.

11Flatten balls slightly with the palm of your hand and make a depression in center with your thumb.

12Fill with 1 tablespoon of filling of choice or a combination of fillings.

13Cover and let rise for about 30 minutes.

14Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375degrees F(190 degrees C).

15Bake in preheated oven for 13 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned.

16Remove from oven and brush with 1/4 cup melted butter.

17Cool on wire rack.
