- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. walnuts
Directions

1Set oven to 350° and grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Combine melted butter and brown sugar and beat them until they are thoroughly mixed.

3Add the eggs (a little at a time).

4Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.

5Add them to the batter, mixing until the dry ingredients are blended thoroughly.

6Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.

7Spread batter in greased pan.

8Bake 20 minutes for moist bars, 25 minutes for drier version.

9Cool, cut and serve.
