- 2 quarts popped corn
- 1 1/3 cups pecans, almonds or 1 1/3 cups walnuts
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup clear corn syrup
Directions

1Mix popped corn and nuts of choice in a large bowl.

2Combine sugar, butter, and syrup in a 2 quart sauce pan.

3Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally 10 to 15 minutes or until mixture turns a light caramel color (soft ball stage).

4Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla.

5Pour over popped corn and nuts. Mix to coat well.

6Spread out on a buttered cookie sheet to dry, then break apart into small bite size pieces and enjoy!

7Makes about 2 pounds.
