  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 lb. chopped dates
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. pecans
  • coconut

Directions

    Melt butter and sugar over low heat.

    Add egg, dates and vanilla.

    Cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently, then stir in Rice Krispies and chopped pecans.

    Allow mixture to cool enough to handle.

    Roll into balls and then roll the balls in coconut to cover them.
