  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix (do not mix)
  • 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 lb. (1 stick) butter, cut in patties

Directions

    Grease cake pan.

    Pour pineapple and pie filling in cake pan. Sprinkle cake mix (dry) over top.

    Sprinkle nuts (if using) over top.

    Place butter patties all over top.

    Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.
