  • 1 lb. lasagna
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 lb. cottage cheese
  • grated Parmesan

Directions

    Brown ground beef in oil with onion, garlic and parsley.

    Add tomato paste, 2 cups water, salt and pepper.

    Simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

    Add lasagna to 6 quarts of salted, boiling water, stirring often to prevent sticking together.

    Cook for 15 minutes or until tender.

    Drain.
