- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. hot sausage
- 1 large can tomato puree
- 2 tsp. crushed basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 3 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 pkg. lasagna (8 oz. noodles)
- 1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese, shredded (8 oz.)
- Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Saute onion and add garlic powder, beef and sausage.

2Pour off grease. Stir in tomato puree, one can water, salt, pepper, basil and oregano.

3Simmer until sauce thickens.

4While sauce simmers, cook noodles following box instructions.

5Drain and place in a bowl of cold water to keep from sticking together.

6Drain noodles and arrange in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish or two 1 1/2-quart baking dishes the noodles, sauce, Mozzarella cheese and sprinkle Parmesan.

7Continue layering until dish is full.

8Bake at 350° for 45 minutes until hot and bubbly.
