- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 (14 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
- 3 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 2 tsp. basil
- 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (6 oz.) lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
Directions

1In large skillet, cook and stir meat until brown.

2Drain meat.

3Add tomatoes and break up with fork.

4Stir in tomato paste, garlic salt, oregano and basil.

5Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

6Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°.

7Stir cottage cheese and 1/2 cup Parmesan. Set aside 2 1/2 cups meat sauce.

8In 13 x 9-inch pan, alternate layers of noodles, cheese and meat sauce.

9Spread reserved meat sauce over top. Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes.
