Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. minced parsley
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 pkg. or 8 oz. lasagna noodles
  • 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 lb. cottage or Ricotta cheese
  • 1/3 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 can tomato sauce

Directions

    Brown meats, in oil in a large frypan over medium heat, stirring constantly.

    Add garlic, tomato paste, water, onion, bay leaves, parsley, salt and pepper.

    Mix well.

    Cover and simmer 1 hour over low heat, stirring occasionally.
