Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves
  • 2 c. creamed cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 lb. grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 pkg. cooked lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown meat and drain fat.

    Add tomatoes.

    Break up with fork. Add tomato paste, garlic salt, oregano leaves and basil leaves. Bring to boil.

    Stir occasionally.

    Reduce heat.

    Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Mix cottage cheese and 1/2 cup Parmesan.

    Reserve 1 cup of meat sauce and 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese.
