- 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 (32 oz.) jars Ragu spaghetti sauce
- 1 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3/4 lb. lasagna noodles (9 noodles)
Directions

1Slip noodles into boiling water (add 1 tablespoon cooking oil so noodles won't stick together).

2Simmer meat with onion and garlic; drain meat mixture.

3Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.

4In a 9 x 13-inch pan make layers starting with meat, then noodles, Ricotta cheese and Mozzarella cheese; continue to layer.

5Top with Mozzarella cheese.

6Bake 40 minutes in a 450° oven.

7You may also add layers of cottage cheese in this.
