  • 1/2 lb lasgna noodles (9 noodles)
  • 1/2 lb ground italian sausage
  • 1 egg (slightly beaten)
  • 8 oz ricotta
  • 2 cup mozzarella (shredded)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp italian seasoning
  • 24 oz pasta sauce (I enjoy Hunts Traditional)

Directions

    Cook noodles according to package directions

    Crumble and brown sausage.

    Stir in pasta sauce and set aside

    Preheat oven to 375*

    In medium bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, egg & seasonings

    Grease a medium baking dish.

    Add 1/3 cup of sauce to bottom of pan

    Cover bottom of pan with 3 noodles

    Cover noodles with 1/3 cheese.

    Then top with 1/3 sauce

    Repeat layers 2 more times (noodles, cheese then sauce)

    Top with remaining mozzarella

    Cover and bake for 30 minutes

    Uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes
