Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 2 large cans tomatoes
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 eggs
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Cook hamburger, onion, green pepper, tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, eggs and mushrooms together in heavy pan for 3 hours, until thick.

2Prepare noodles as package directs; drain.

3In a 13 x 9-inch baking pan, arrange noodles, one layer at a time.

4Top with meat mixture, cottage cheese and Mozzarella cheese.

5Repeat layers.

6Sprinkle top with nutmeg.

7Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
