Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. rosemary
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 3 cans hot water
  • 1/2 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 lb. cottage cheese
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions

    Fry onions and garlic in oil until soft, 5 to 10 minutes.

    Add hamburger and cook until brown.

    Mix in salt, pepper, rosemary and tomato paste.

    Gradually add hot water and simmer 30 minutes uncovered.

    In bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan, put a thin layer of sauce, then a layer of cooked noodles, layer of cottage cheese, layer of Mozzarella cheese, then repeat layers.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Let cool 15 minutes before serving.
