- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 lb. lasagna noodles
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 16 oz. tomato paste
- 2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 c. tomatoes
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Brown meat lightly in olive oil with garlic and onion; add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt and pepper.

2Bring to a boil and simmer covered 2 to 3 hours.

3Cook noodles in salted boiling water until tender.

4Drain noodles just before making.

5In a shallow baking dish, put a layer of noodles and a layer of meat mixture and layer of each kind of cheese.

6Repeat layers and top with Parmesan cheese.

7Bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.
