Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomato juice
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown together the ground chuck and onion.

    Add spaghetti sauce, tomato juice, salt and pepper.

    Simmer for 2 hours.

    Cook lasagna noodles until tender.

    Blend together cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese and Cheddar cheese.

    Layer the noodles, sauce and cheese mixture in a 12 x 15-inch pan, ending with layer of cheese mixture.

    Top with a heavy coating of Parmesan cheese. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.
