  • 1 lb. ground beef (16 oz.)
  • 1 (26.5 oz.) can spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, processed in blender
  • 6 lasagna noodles (the no boil kind)
  • 16 oz. cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook ground beef and drain.

    If using noodles that have to be cooked, cook only until half done.

    Drain.

    Mix together the drained beef, tomatoes and spaghetti sauce.

    Spread 1 1/2 cups in bottom of deep baking dish.

    Lay 3 of the noodles on sauce.

    Then spread some more sauce and 1/2 of the cottage cheese.

    Make another layer of noodles, meat sauce and cottage cheese.

    Then add rest of tomato sauce.

    Spread Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese on top.

    Bake, covered with foil, for 1 hour at 350°. Uncover and continue to bake until cheese is lightly browned.
